Below you will find the culmination of courses that I completed within the Master of Arts in Educational Technology (MAET) program at Michigan State University. Each TE course stands for Teacher education and each CEP course stands for Counseling, Educational Psychology and Special Education.
TE 802: Reflection & Inquiry in Teaching Practice I: Literacy
Amy Croel-Perrien
Fall 2016
As an intern, this course helped prepare me to develop agency as a literacy teacher in designing, teaching and
analyzing consecutive days of lessons based on assessment of individual learning needs. We examined the concept of literacy from multiple perspectives as well as instructional models and methods and resources for teaching literacy. This course helped me establish learning committees that support literacy development, organizing and teaching small and whole group reading instruction, teaching writing in a responsive way and reflecting on teaching through analyzing student work.

CEP 800: Psychology of Learning in School & Other Settings
Matthew Schell • Brittany Dillman
Spring 2020
In this course, we looked closely at what learning is, how it takes place, and how learning can be influenced. We did this through a variety of research within psychology and other related fields. We explored many ideas and perspectives on learning and how these perspectives support our efforts to learn. The many perspectives we explored helped me develop an understanding and appreciation for the variety of learning theories including behaviorism, motivation, cognitivism, social learning, constructivism, and more.

CEP 810: Teaching & Understanding with Technology
Nicole Zumpano • Mary Wever
Summer 2020
In this course, we explored learning with technology and incorporating the TPACK framework as well as 21st Century Learning and the critical skills students need today. We did this through a variety of assignments and tasks. Specifically, through blogging. All of our assignments were posted on a blog within our own website. One key component of CEP 810 was analyzing our Professional Learning Network and how beneficial exploring other networks can be as an educator and student. I learned how diversity expands possibilities for new discoveries and this method of learning has truly changed my perspective of utilizing the many networks that exist today.
